Peak vs off-peak pricing on British Airways reward flights for 2026

When it comes to pricing reward flights, British Airways splits the year into two categories:

• Off-Peak: These are the "quieter" periods of the year. They make up roughly two-thirds of the calendar. Flying during these times requires a lower number of Avios.
• Peak: These dates align with high-demand periods like school holidays (Easter, Summer, and Christmas) and UK Bank Holidays. Flying on these dates requires a higher number of Avios.
